Jamie Hogge, Presenter - Elevate Your Dining Etiquette
Jamie Hogge’s Southeast Texas roots run deep. Her father, Dr. Jerry Johnson, was a beloved Ophthalmologist, and her mother, Sug Johnson, was a local business owner. She attended All Saints Episcopal School, Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, and earned her B.S.- Criminal Justice in 1990 and M.P.A. in 1995 at Lamar University.
Through their parents' example, Jamie and her sisters learned the importance of community service. After earning her bachelor’s degree, and prior to attending graduate school, she spent a year on tour with Up With People, performing, and doing community service projects throughout the United States and Europe. She has been a volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for over 20 years - working with abused and neglected children in foster care. For 20 years she has served as a member of the Workforce Solutions Board of Directors. She has worked with BASF and TotalEnergies for 24 years overseeing the Miracle Match for Life partnership, grossing over $2.4 million for local charities.
Jamie lives in Beaumont with her husband, Mark, a 39-year veteran of the Beaumont Police Department. For close to two decades, she has been employed as a Patient Advocate at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. For over 25 years she has worked with her sister, Sydney Matthews, at Beaumont Junior Cotillion – founded by her sister. Through their efforts, thousands of local children have received training in dining and social etiquette, and ballroom dancing.
